Different experience | Still fun
Baga is only the beginning
Little India puts you close to the beach, but the neighbourhood goes far beyond the shoreline. From markets and music to churches, rivers, wildlife, water sports and day trips into old Goa, this is a base for travellers who want to choose their own version of North Goa.
Start with Baga and Calangute. Follow the coast to Vagator. Head inland for waterfalls, sanctuaries or backwaters. Or keep the day simple with a market wander, dinner plans and a late-night walk back home.
Beaches & Coastal Attractions
The coast is the obvious place to begin. Baga keeps you close to beach shacks, water sports and nightlife, while Calangute adds a broader, busier stretch of sand. For a change of scene, Vagator brings cliffs, sunsets and a slightly different North Goa mood.

Water Sports & Adventure
For guests who like their holidays with a bit more movement, North Goa offers plenty beyond sun-beds and seafood. Dolphin trips, rafting routes, canyoning, and seasonal adventure activities can be arranged through local operators, depending on weather, tides and availability.

Wildlife & Nature Experiences
Goa’s wilder side is worth making time for. Step away from the beach and you can find river trips, mangroves, birdlife, waterfalls, sanctuaries and green routes that show a completely different side of the state.

Shopping & Local Markets
Markets are part shopping trip, part people-watching, part Goa theatre. Browse clothing, jewellery, crafts, souvenirs and food stalls, then stay for the atmosphere as the day turns into evening.

Heritage & Cultural Attractions
When you want a deeper sense of Goa, head beyond the beach belt into its churches, temples and old settlements. Old Goa brings historic architecture, scale and quiet grandeur, while the temples of Ponda and the surrounding villages offer a different view of the state’s cultural life, rituals and craftsmanship.
This is the Goa worth making time for when you want more than the coast: carved details, courtyards, bells, tiled roofs, old roads and places that still hold the rhythm of local devotion.

Nightlife & Entertainment
Baga has a reputation after dark, and for good reason. From Tito’s Lane to beach bars, clubs, casinos and late-night music, the area has plenty for guests who want the evening to run longer.
For a change of pace, Arpora brings some of North Goa’s best-known night market energy and open-air party spots, while Anjuna adds its own mix of beach clubs, music venues, sunset sessions and a more bohemian after-dark mood.
