Bongo Shack is the restaurant at Little India, open all year round from morning to late evening. It is designed for the way guests actually spend their days in Baga: coffee before the beach, lunch without too much ceremony, a drink by the pool, or dinner after a long coastal day.

Freshness matters here. Shiva delivers the morning’s fish fresh, while Jaffer sources vegetables locally from the market, choosing produce that keeps the kitchen seasonal, honest and full of flavour. It gives the food a grounded Goa quality without making a loud performance of it.

The coffee machine has also become a quiet favourite, especially with international guests in the area who appreciate a proper cup before the day begins.

Service is a big part of the experience. Irfan and Pratap, our restaurant managers, are always around to assist guests, while the wider team brings the kind of warmth that makes people remember a stay for the right reasons.
